Nutritious Millet Porridge

Yummy nutrient dense breakfast anyone? Oh yes, this is exactly what this simple meal offers. What I love about this is how delicious it is & that it takes so little time to prepare because the millet cooks very fast.

We want to create a healthy habit of nourishing our bodies well by giving them the right nutrients. Through our meals we choose our energy levels, our vitality, our restoration, our hormone balance, our mental clarity & much more, and so it is important that we choose life by choosing healthy foods.

Alright, let's get into this meal

Ingredients (Serves 1)

3 -4 tablespoons of millet (rinsed)

1 table spoon flaxseed powder

1/4 cup non-dairy milk of your choice (I used oat milk)

a handful of pumpkin seeds

a handful of chopped nuts (I used almonds)

a handful of blueberries

a handful of blackberries

1 teaspoon chia seeds

nut butter (I used unsweetened organic peanut butter)

raw honey to sweeten



1. Bring the millet to boil, t should be a creamy porridgey consistency

2. Place the millet porridge in a bowl

3. Add your flax seed powder

4. Top with non dairy milk

5. Add in the berries

6. Add in the chopped nuts & pumpkin seeds

7. Top with the nut butter, how much is up to you, I tend to ensure with my eye, haha

8. If needed, sweeten with a little honey

9. Sprinkle the chia seeds
